The Notre Dame boys golf team is one step closer to their goal after winning the team title Monday at the Niagara Catholic Athletic Association championships Monday at Twenty Valley.

“It’s a close group that has been together for a couple of years. This is their last shot at getting to OFSAA (Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations championships),” Notre Dame coach Bob Jarrett said.

Members of the winning team were Leo Savio (open), Colby Franchetti (high school), Townes Bestward (high school), Julian Belcastro (high school) and Carson McComber (high school). Its winning score was 305.
