Ava Briggs has a new role with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish senior girls basketball team.
The Grade 12 student has replaced graduated Nicole Dixon as the starting point on the Irish squad that pushed its Niagara Catholic Athletic Association record to 3-0 Wednesday with a 75-32 road victory over the Lakeshore Catholic Gators (2-1).
